Job summary

Futureheads Recruitment | B Corp™ is seeking a Director of Product Design for an established international B2C ecommerce company. You will lead a small design team, set the product design vision and elevate the customer experience across mobile and web.

This role is predominantly leadership, strategy and team development, while staying hands-on to guide key product decisions that impact conversion and revenue. A strong portfolio will demonstrate impact and outcomes.

Director of Product Design – B2C Ecommerce

€120k–€140k + year-end performance bonus

We’re hiring a Director of Product Design for an established international B2C ecommerce company.

You’ll lead a small design team, set the product design vision and raise the quality of the customer experience across mobile and web. Around 80% of the role is focused on leadership, strategy and developing the team, while remaining close enough to the work and hands-on to support important product decisions.

What you’ll do

• Set the product design and customer experience strategy


• Coach and develop the design team


• Introduce advanced AI workflows across prototyping, motion and production


• Strengthen customer research, usability testing and experimentation


• Connect design decisions to conversion, retention and revenue


• Develop the design system across mobile and web


• Partner with product and senior leadership

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years in product design, including 4+ years managing designers


• Strong B2C experience across mobile and responsive web


• Evidence of improving measurable customer or commercial outcomes


• Advanced use of AI in a current or recent design role


• Strong research, experimentation and design systems experience


• A portfolio showing work delivered by your teams and its impact
