Job summary

Ardena in Oss, NL, is seeking an IT Applications Director to own our end-to-end application portfolio across ERP, LIMS, QMS, MES, CRM and more. You will partner with business leaders and site IT teams to deliver value while maintaining regulatory compliance in a GxP environment.

The role combines strategic portfolio planning with hands-on delivery and governance, leading a cross-site team and managing vendor relationships to drive digital transformation and improved user experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 in an application management or IT leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise application programmes in life sciences or regulated environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/ISMS and information security practices.
• Solid experience with system validation and testing methodologies (IQ/OQ/PQ, UAT).
• Strong knowledge of ERP/LIMS/QMS/MES platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Ardena's application portfolio strategy (ERP, LIMS, QMS, MES, CRM).
• Lead selection, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications.
• Define architecture principles, integration standards, and data governance.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, IT Security, and AI teams to ensure secure, scalable landscape.
• Oversee upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning with minimal business disruption.
• Lead and develop cross-site teams and manage vendor relationships and budgets.
