Job summary

Valcon is seeking an Experienced Data Management Consultant at senior levels in the Netherlands. You will help clients govern, manage and use data—from strategy and operating models to practical processes and technology implementations.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering sustainable value across data, analytics and AI. You’ll translate strategic ambitions into practical solutions, lead complex data governance and MDM initiatives, and collaborate with executive stakeholders to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in data management, governance, quality, stewardship or MDM.
• Experience in consulting or in complex, stakeholder-rich organisations.
• Ability to independently structure and deliver a client assignment.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and translating topics into practical recommendations.
• Professional fluency in Dutch and English.
• Experience with Collibra, Databricks, Informatica; relevant certifications welcome.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to or lead assignments in data strategy, governance, quality and MDM.
• Design operating models and data ownership frameworks for clients.
• Lead workshops, translate findings into practical recommendations and roadmaps.
• Advise stakeholders and develop reusable approaches and propositions.
• Support adoption of data management capabilities across client organizations.
• Mentor other specialists and strengthen data management capabilities.
