Job summary

IFF is seeking a Director, Contract Manufacturing to lead the external manufacturing network for Health & Biosciences. You will shape strategy, drive supply resilience, risk management, and long-term value creation with global partners.

The role can be based in Leiden (NL), Bruges (BE), or Lyngby (DK), and requires guiding governance, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective supply base.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience across manufacturing and supply chain.
• Experience with suppliers and contract manufacturers; governance and risk mitigation.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across regions and functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract manufacturing strategy, performance, and risk across external network.
• Develop and improve the contract manufacturer lifecycle framework for growth and resilience.
• Partner cross-functionally to evaluate make-versus-buy and capacity planning.
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies for new and existing partnerships.
• Ensure partners deliver capacity, capability, quality, and service levels.
• Establish governance for IP protection, regulatory compliance, contracts, risk, and asset management.
• Lead and strengthen the Contract Manufacturing organization across units.
• Drive initiatives to improve supply performance and profitability through data management.
