Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Director of Product, Foundations, to lead the Foundations product organisation within Marketplace Product Experience. You will own the shared digital experience platform that supports every Booking.com journey, enabling teams to move faster with reliable, reusable AI-first capabilities.

Operating at product director scope, you will manage multiple platform groups—Experience Infrastructure, Content and UI—and drive multi‑year planning, adoption, and platform leverage,

Qualifications

• Extensive product leadership experience (10+ years) with multiple PM teams and managers at Product Director scope.
• Track record in platform/infrastructure or UI platform products at scale, serving internal teams.
• Strong platform thinking: platform-as-a-service, contracts, SLAs, adoption strategy, reuse.
• Applied AI product proficiency and tech fluency; govern responsible AI and architecture collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder leadership and strategic thinking; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the Foundations platform strategy and set 18‑month direction.
• Lead multi‑year planning and resource allocation for platform groups.
• Drive delivery excellence, reliability, and maintainability across platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering on architecture and multi‑BU initiatives; run PaaS operating model.
