Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering for the Connected Trip Experience & Data within the Marketplace unit in Amsterdam or Manchester. You will lead technology, foundations and data initiatives, partnering with Product and Data to deliver scalable, customer-focused experiences powered by AI.

Role requires deep engineering leadership, strategic thinking and ability to influence across matrix organisations.

Qualifications

Firsthand experience of building customer-centric experiences at scale on AI, Mobile and web platforms in partnership with Product.
Experience leading technology organisations at scale with cross‑functional teams.
Demonstrable experience partnering with senior stakeholders across matrix organisations.

Responsibilities

Lead the Technology, Craft & Delivery Leadership for Connected Trip Product Experience, Foundations and Data.
Embed Gen AI into Customer Experience, Ways of Working and Data platforms.
Drive alignment across tech and non-tech stakeholders and set architecture standards.
