Job summary

Booking.com, headquartered in Amsterdam, seeks a Director of Central Tech and SSF Risk Operations to shape security posture and risk strategy. You will lead a 50-person team across Amsterdam, Manchester, Bucharest and Bangalore, driving risk initiatives for cybersecurity, fraud, and safety.

You will align policy, controls and governance with engineering practices and report risk posture to executive leadership, while fostering collaboration across Global Security & Resilience functions.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in Cyber Security or Fraud with leadership experience.
• Experience in risk management organizational change and communicating with executives/board.
• Familiarity with cloud-based security frameworks and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 50 across Amsterdam, Manchester, Bucharest and Bangalore.
• Oversee risk management for Central Tech and SSF domains including cybersecurity, physical security, fraud, trust and safety.
• Drive governance, policy management and risk registers; maintain risk dashboards and reporting.
• Communicate risk posture to leadership and stakeholders; partner with business units to remediate controls.
• Embed risk management into business operations and engineering practices.
