Job summary

DeepHealth is seeking a Director of AI Governance to lead the design, development, and management of our AI governance program. You will collaborate with Information Security, Data Privacy, Vendor Management, Ethics, Legal, and IT to promote safe, legal, and ethical use of AI across the organization.

Responsibilities include building governance frameworks aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and EU AI Act, policies for responsible AI, and training across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in AI, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field (required).
• 5–10 years in AI compliance/governance in regulated industry (required).
• Proven experience developing and implementing AI compliance/governance strategies (required).
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks/regulations: NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act (required).
• Excellent written and oral communication (required).
• High integrity/confidentiality (required).
• Master's degree or advanced certifications and AI governance coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI governance strategies aligned with goals and ethics.
• Design and maintain an AI governance framework per standards and regulations.
• Create and maintain policies for responsible AI development and deployment.
• Integrate AI governance with compliance and risk management.
• Advise internal teams and clients on AI governance matters.
• Evaluate vendor AI compliance with legal, ethical, and security standards.
• Oversee AI risk assessments and inventories for regulatory compliance.
• Review AI-related contracts in partnership with Legal.
• Design and deliver training on AI governance principles.
• Mentor team members and support audits of the AI framework.
