Job summary

Lever, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks a Director of Professional Services for WordPress VIP to lead enterprise delivery, including migrations, implementations, and complex engagements. This senior role combines operational leadership with commercial accountability and a strong AI-focus to modernize delivery.

You will shape repeatable offerings, partner with Sales and Product, and drive measurable customer impact in a fully remote, international team.

Qualifications

8+ years of leadership experience in Professional Services, implementation, technical consulting, or a related delivery function.
5+ years delivering services for enterprise SaaS or PaaS customers, ideally involving large-scale migrations, implementations, or custom development.
Proven experience building and managing a services portfolio, including defining offerings, establishing pricing, creating repeatable delivery models.
Demonstrated commercial ownership beyond delivery, including experience partnering with Sales on scoping and pricing, and revenue impact.
Strong understanding of AI-augmented delivery models with practical AI usage to improve workflows.
Communicated complex issues clearly to executive stakeholders.
Proven people leadership and performance-management experience.
Operator-first mindset with ability to move between strategy and delivery challenges.
Strong commercial judgment on revenue, margins, and customer outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scoping and escalations.
Coaching leadership style developing practitioners into delivery leaders.
Strategic thinking with execution skills in a fast-changing, distributed environment.

Responsibilities

Lead a Professional Services organization of engineers and delivery managers handling migrations, implementations, and custom enterprise engagements.
Own end-to-end delivery performance including health, escalations, outcomes, and timelines.
Build an AI-augmented delivery organization to accelerate execution and increase capacity.
Develop and maintain a portfolio of repeatable services offerings with flexible scoping.
Own commercial performance, including revenue, margin, pricing, and expansions.
Partner with Sales and Account Management to scope, price, and transition engagements to delivery.
Set strategic direction and operating plan for Professional Services as part of Customer Experience leadership.
Differentiate the services portfolio with a clear value proposition and evidence of impact.
Collaborate with Product, Support, and Account Management to feed back into the platform.
Represent Professional Services with senior stakeholders during complex engagements.
Coach delivery professionals into stronger practitioners and leaders.
