The role
You will be responsible for the daily execution and optimisation of FRAME’s digital marketing and communication channels, with a strong focus on newsletters, social media and campaigns. You will manage and execute the marketing communications calendar, ensuring all FRAME activities are clearly planned and communicated.
You will proactively initiate communication activities on time and coordinate closely with the FRAME team — including editors, design and the FRAME Awards lead — to gather content, assets and input. You ensure an active, responsive and consistent brand voice across all channels. You report directly to the Managing Director.
The role requires consistency, accuracy, initiative and strong editorial sensitivity.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and producing daily newsletters – content-creation, scheduling and optimisation - 7 days a week; content can be planned and produced ahead, including weekends
- Executing and optimising CRM-based email campaigns and automated notifications
- Creating, maintaining and updating lead lists, contact databases and customer data, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Supporting subscription, awards, and all FRAME’s product-related campaigns
Social media
- Managing FRAME’s social media channels; planning, publishing and performance tracking
- Developing and monitoring content pillars and the social media design system, together with the FRAME team
- Executing a Monday–Sunday posting schedule to distribute and promote premium content, including (daily) engagement posts
- Includes producing and publishing reels, carousels and mood-based content
- Executing social media campaigns for advertising partners, including coordination and scheduling, quality control of assets and performance reporting
- Coordinating and running the bi-monthly FRAME Magazine release campaign targeting readers, distributors and retailers
- Running and optimising paid campaigns for FRAME’s own goals (subscriptions, awards entries, book sales)
- Monitoring performance using analytics and translating insights into improvements
- Ensuring brand consistency — including FRAME’s visual identity and tone of voice — across all digital touchpoints
- Collaborating closely with editorial, sales, awards and design teams
- Day-to-day communication tasks and assisting colleagues when needed
Skills & experience
Proven experience with:
- Digital marketing and marketing communications
- Newsletters, email and social media, from strategy and planning to execution
- Copywriting and basic art direction
- CMS, CRM, email and automation tools
- Analytics and optimisation (Google Analytics, A/B testing, CRO, SEO)
- Paid social and digital advertising (Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc)
- B2B media and publishing
- Architecture and design
Required skills:
- HBO / bachelor degree in marketing or communication
- Fluent or near-native English
- Understanding of content strategy, branding and growth
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to use technical tools, create reports, interpret data, optimise performance and support informed decision-making
- Tools: Mailchimp, Adobe creative tools, Lemlist, ZOHO, Nova (CMS), Stripe, Zapier, Google Analytics.
- Work independently, reliably and with daily consistency
- Collaborative team player
- Flexible, fast-executing, and proactive; someone who sees opportunities and takes initiative
- Temporary role (maternity cover)
- Dutch working permit required
- Time commitment: approx. 4 hours per weekday, flexible scheduling
- Location: Amsterdam - role intended for professionals based in/near Amsterdam
- Hybrid working; minimum 1 day per week in the office
- Period: March 9 – September 4, 2026
- Salary or fee based on salary scale 6 of the CAO Uitgeverijbedrijf
