Job summary

We need you as a Digital IC Design Engineer / System architect to be part of our multidisciplinary team to:> Understand, refine and define concepts and architectures for next generation low power edge AI accelerator.> Take responsibility for the HW modelling of high-performance, ultra-low-power edge AI architecture. This includes:> SystemC modelling for new AI accelerator concepts> Making trade-offs for best performance over power and area, minimal power while considering scalability, maintainability and re-usability.> Collaborate with AI algorithmic expert, and other system architects.> Benchmarking the HW model with several AI models.> Using Pytorch and understanding ONNX files for mapping onto accelerators> Collaborate in an inter-disciplinary team. Understand (internal or external) customer needs, challenges and requirements and translate that into solutions that you can incorporate into your designs.> Contribute to high-quality reports and documentation.## What we expect from you> MSc or PhD in electronics engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.> Understanding of state-of-the-art AI accelerators, CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, TPUs, DPUs, and IMC-based Edge-AI accelerators is required.> Experience with HW modelling SystemC and Python, Pytorch is required.> Experience in mapping AI workloads to SOTA AI accelerators is required.> Experience with digital circuit design and RTL is preferred.> Experience with revisioning systems, like git is preferred.> Experience with Synopsys PA tool is preferred.> Experience with scripting language TCL preferred.> Architecting and designing AI accelerators or CPU and peripheral (sub-)systems is preferred.> Structural way of working and ability to develop and manage activity planning is highly preferred.> Previous experience working closely with (internal or external) stakeholders is a plus.> Able to take initiative and responsibility for team’s success.
