Job summary
Picnic in Amsterdam is seeking a Digital Designer to shape the online presence of the first fully digital supermarket. You’ll join a dynamic team of designers, copywriters, web developers and marketing specialists to craft engaging web pages and drive a meaningful customer experience.
You’ll contribute to a human-centered brand, ensure visual identity consistency across channels, and stay ahead of design trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in visual, media, digital or communication design or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of web design experience in commercial/agency settings.
- Strong online portfolio with attention to detail and creative flair.
- Expertise with Figma and Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
- Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on attitude.
- Fluent in English; EU work permit holder.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging, responsive web pages and interfaces using wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups in Figma and Adobe.
- Optimize designs for speed, usability, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-country teams (Netherlands, Germany, France) to translate briefs into functional designs.
- Maintain Picnic's visual identity across web presence and other channels.
- Stay current with design trends and best practices.
