Job summary

Picnic Technologies in Amsterdam is seeking a Visual Designer Intern to join a team of designers, category managers, copy writers and external creatives. You will shape Picnic’s private label brand and create artwork amendments to support the team.

You’ll learn from experienced designers, photographers and stakeholders across markets as you help evaluate colour proofs and design directions. You will mock-up designs, structure feedback from multiple stakeholders, manage final artwork files, and

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a design-related study (Desktop publishing, Visual/Graphic Design).
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Interested in print/packaging.
• Strong portfolio with attention to detail.
• Self-starter with a hands-on attitude.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Create digital and physical mock-ups to evaluate design directions.
• Structure design feedback from multiple stakeholders and implement it.
• Manage final artwork files by structure and archiving them.
• Support the team by assessing artwork proofs and updating guidelines.
• Collaborate with experienced designers, photographers and business stakeholders internationally.
