Job summary

AKQA Amsterdam Studio is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of mid-sized digital projects up to €350k, coordinating cross-functional teams across creative, design, UX/UI and tech.

Based in central Amsterdam, you will operate in a hybrid delivery model, collaborate with AKQA’s European studios, and ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing multi-disciplinary projects in creative or digital agencies.
• Experience delivering digital products and campaigns.
• Strong collaboration with creative, design, and tech teams.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set up, structure, and deliver mid-sized projects up to €350k, within scope, time, and budget.
• Collaborate with leads to estimate effort and resources; select delivery model.
• Define project structures and hybrid delivery frameworks (Waterfall + Agile/Scrum).
• Monitor financial status, budgets, burn rates, invoicing, vendor costs.
• Forecast resource requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain proactive client communication and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate risks while balancing client requests.
• Keep project documentation organized and compliant with standards.
