Job summary

AKQA Media in Amsterdam seeks a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of mid-sized digital projects up to €350k. You will translate briefs into scopes, plan budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams across creative, design, strategy, UX/UI, and technology.

Based in Amsterdam, you will manage hybrid workflows (Agile and Waterfall), monitor financials, and foster strong client relationships. The role emphasizes delivery excellence and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience managing multi-disciplinary projects in a creative or digital setting.
Proven track record delivering digital-first solutions and campaigns.
Experience with hybrid delivery methods, including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Set up, structure, and deliver mid-sized projects (up to €350k) on scope, time, and budget.
Collaborate with Creative, Design, Strategy, UX/UI and Tech leads to estimate effort and resources.
Define project structures and delivery frameworks blending Waterfall and Agile.
Monitor financial status: budgets, burn rates, forecasts, invoicing, and vendor costs.
Forecast resource needs across multidisciplinary teams and plan allocations.
Maintain proactive client and partner communications and align on success criteria.
Identify and mitigate risks such as scope creep and tight timelines.
Keep documentation organized with schedules, Jira/Trello boards, and meeting notes.
