Job summary

Lepaya is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help build and secure our cloud platform. You’ll work across DevOps, Security, and IT, embedding security into pipelines and automating guardrails that power our learning platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS and Terraform experience in a fast-paced environment.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker and cloud-native orchestration services.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, network security, and secrets management.
• Scripting in Bash or Python; TypeScript a plus.
• Strong English communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and secure AWS infrastructure with least-privilege IAM and encryption.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines with automated checks.
• Implement policy-as-code to catch misconfigurations early.
• Develop secure-by-default infrastructure modules for teams.
• Strengthen security posture across multi-account AWS org.
• Automate compliance evidence for audits with the Security Engineer.
• Improve monitoring/observability using Grafana Cloud and OpenTelemetry.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes.
