Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a leading financial services organisation in Amsterdam. The role focuses on automating CI/CD pipelines, cloud and on-prem deployments, and integrating Python tooling with Ansible Automation Platform.

You will work in a hybrid setup (2 days onsite), partner with platform teams, and help automate network devices and VMware environments while supporting secure, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience automating infrastructure using Python and Ansible.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience automating network devices (firewalls, load balancers) and VMware.
• Financial services sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure and platforms to improve deployment efficiency.
• Support platform teams with automation of code and infra.
• Assist with automation of network devices and VMware management.
