Job summary

ITProposal is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Development Tooling department, supporting development teams across the Netherlands, Germany, France, the UK, and India. The role emphasizes CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and automation-driven tooling to deliver a compliant, low‑complexity path to production.

You will contribute to eight DevOps teams, delivering services such as pipeline templates, agents, security scanning, and artifact repositories, while ensuring a scalable, developer‑friendly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years IT experience.
• Strong CI/CD fundamentals and Azure DevOps experience.
• Proficient in Python; experience with Java/Vue via Maven/NPM/Poetry is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with GenAI tooling and applying it to automation.
• Automation‑driven mindset; able to automate processes end to end.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain DevOps tooling across the SDLC (pipelines, backlog management, security scanning, artifact repositories).
• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD templates and automation solutions.
• Handle operational responsibilities including patching and administrative tasks.
• Build applications (Java, Vue, Python) using Maven, NPM, and Poetry within Azure DevOps.
• Work with Docker for containerization and build processes.
• Apply GenAI tooling to improve developer experience and accelerate automation.
• Collaborate with other DevOps teams for seamless integration across the lifecycle.
• Maintain a customer‑centric mindset to streamline path to production.
• Continuously learn within a large end‑to‑end tooling environment.
