Qualifications

• Experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with design patterns and Clean Code principles.
• Knowledge of unit, integration, API testing and mocking, including end-to-end tests.

We are seeking a backend engineer to design, build and run various backend systems in a microservice landscape. You will be responsible for documenting, refining designs, implementing best practices, and ensuring quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Required qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with Java17+ and Spring Boot.

• Experience with design patterns, methodologies, and Clean Code principles.

• Insight into different test levels (unit tests, functional tests, API tests, mocking, end-to-end tests).

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin.

• Experience with build & deployment tools such as Maven, Git, Docker, and Ansible.

• Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.

• Experience with Linux scripting and DevOps tooling.
