Job summary

ALGOTEQUE Innovation Hub is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain an AWS-based cloud platform for an edtech project. You will implement infrastructure as code with AWS CDK, set up robust CI/CD pipelines, and improve developer self-service tooling.

You will strengthen observability, security, and reliability while collaborating closely with development and product teams in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS as your main platform.
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or CloudFormation).
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Good working knowledge of Linux systems.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog.
A solid understanding of cloud security principles (IAM, Zero Trust, compliance).
Experience working with containerized environments (ECS Fargate).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Set up and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines with AWS-native and Git-based tools.
Make developers' lives easier through self-service tools and platform automation.

Keep the platform secure and compliant by applying DevSecOps practices and automation.
Own reliability and performance, working to prevent incidents and recover from them faster.
Keep cloud spending efficient and under control.
Help drive and speed up the move from on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
Work closely with development and product teams in an open, supportive way.
Help grow a healthy DevOps culture built on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
