Job summary

Keenfinity Group, Eindhoven area, is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Device Simulation & Digital Twin. You will rebuild and expand the software simulator for DICENTIS conference devices, targeting 80–90% coverage of real behavior on Windows and Linux. This long‑term project emphasizes practical development and testing in a real‑world setting.

The role requires C# and/or C++ skills, basic networking, and strong English, with a hybrid work option and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C# and/or C++.
• Good understanding of OOP and software design.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, client‑server).
• Ability to work independently and own tasks.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Motivation to learn and develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rebuilding and expanding the device simulator for DICENTIS.
• Define and implement new simulated device scenarios in C# and/or C++.
• Develop networked software that emulates physical devices.
• Ensure compatibility with Windows and Linux and integrate tests.
• Document device behaviors, architecture, usage, and limitations.
• Collaborate with engineers to align simulator with testing needs.
