Job summary

Viventris is seeking an intern to develop a behavior-based digital twin of a production module, enabling early validation of processes and software without physical hardware.

You will select a concrete setup (tray feeder, robot station, conveyor, or vision system) and define the software-facing interface to control the module. The project may include visualization or a physics engine for advanced simulations.

Qualifications

• Programming experience in C++ or Python.
• Interest in industrial automation or robotics.
• Keen on system simulation and virtualization.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics or vision systems.
• ROS2 ecosystem experience: Gazebo, RViz, MoveIt2.

Responsibilities

• Choose a concrete module and define its functional interface.
• Develop a digital twin that mimics the module's behavior.
• Expand the twin with visualization or physics engine if needed.
• Demonstrate a working digital twin for testing software and process logic.
• Collaborate with mentors and document results.
