Job summary

Desert Ant Labs in Amsterdam is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to help developers ship our models. You’ll build demo apps, create integrations with n8n, Raycast, Expo, and Home Assistant, and collaborate with our content team.

Half your time is spent with engineers and product leads to explain how the model runs and what it means for users, while the other half is spent in the field with customers and at events across Europe and the US.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate and build live demos and examples for various product verticals.
• Create and maintain clear, actionable documentation and sample code for developers.
• Experience presenting to developer audiences and customers is a plus.

About the role

You spend half your time building demo apps, examples, and integrations with tools like n8n, Raycast, Expo, and Home Assistant, together with our content team. You spend the other half with developers at companies that want to ship our models, such as Voz, Gist, Redact, or Moderator, and you help them until the model is live.

In one meeting, you explain to engineers how the model runs, and to product leads what that means for their users. The work is hands-on.

What you will do

• Build demo apps and examples for specific verticals and types of products.


• Work with engineering and marketing on the best way to present each model: demos, model pages, and launch posts.


• Build and keep up our integrations with tools like n8n, Raycast, Expo, and Home Assistant.


• Turn developer questions into docs, examples, and feedback for the SDK and model teams.


• Give talks, and publish posts and videos.


• Travel to customers and events in Europe and the US.

You might be a fit if you

• Have given talks, or published posts, a newsletter, or a podcast.


• Have been the only person in a function, and enjoy meeting customers.


• Live in Europe and travel often.


• Write clean, tested code, and spot a weak change in review, whether a person or an agent wrote it.


• Plan and run your work through coding agents such as Claude Code, with a low tolerance for slop.


• Built apps on vibe-code platforms or with coding agents.
