Job summary

Rentman B.V. is seeking a top-tier UI/visual designer to own and advance Rentman’s design system. You will lead the visual language, maintain the Figma component library, and align design with AI tools while collaborating with product teams and a small design-system squad.

The role emphasizes high craft, governance, and cross-functional influence in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment with an office in Utrecht and opportunities for remote work.

Qualifications

• Top-of-team UI and visual craft with a strong portfolio.
• Expert in Figma with tokens/variables, and auto-layout.
• WCAG AA fluency and understanding of good software interfaces.
• Understanding of how design systems can be consumable by AI tooling.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders (product owners, developers, designers).

Responsibilities

• Define Rentman's visual language and documentation for teams to apply.
• Build and maintain the Figma component library and parity with Storybook/Angular.
• Document the system with human guidelines and machine-readable usage rules.
• Establish patterns and templates for priority user flows.
• Run governance: contribution process, changelog, deprecations, design reviews.
• Partner daily with Design System Developer as a small autonomous team.
