Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Rotterdam is seeking a Design Engineer to craft innovative, technically sound solutions for customers. You will develop design proposals, reports and drawings, and work with Sales and Project Management to ensure successful delivery of projects.

You will generate 3D models, perform simulations, and liaise with manufacturing partners to meet customer needs. A drive for innovation and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc. degree in Engineering from a top university.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Office and CAD/CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and develop technical proposals and designs.
• Support Sales with technical requirements and feasibility assessments.
• Create 3D models and production drawings.
• Engage with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Perform FEA simulations and prepare reports.
• Collaborate on innovation and product improvements.
