Job summary

TWD is seeking a Marine Engineer in Rotterdam to transform client requests into workable installation methods and designs for offshore projects. You will apply deep marine dynamics knowledge to deliver innovative, feasible solutions within deadlines and budgets.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to improve methods, perform quality checks on calculations and models (Orcaflex, Python), and serve as the client-facing marine expert ensuring value and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Marine Engineer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Marine/Mechanical/Aerospace/Offshore).

Responsibilities

• Leading the execution of marine engineering projects, ensuring technical integrity, safety, and delivery within time and budget.
• Setting up, managing, and tracking project scopes, risks, and progress to meet overall project planning.
• Collaborating closely with marine and structural engineers to align designs, methods, and calculations.
• Performing and safeguarding technical quality through reviews of calculations, models in Orcaflex and Python, drawings, and reports.
• Acting as the marine point of contact for clients, translating analyses into practical solutions and identifying opportunities for added value.
