Job summary

Villeroy & Boch Group is seeking a Design Engineer (m/w/d) to take products from concept through series production. You will design with 3D CAD, primarily PTC Creo, and work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management to ensure manufacturability and successful market launches.

You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, have practical experience in design engineering, and be fluent in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or technical product designer training.
• Solid experience in 3D CAD design, ideally with PTC Creo.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and transfer to series production.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop products from concept to production readiness and industrialization.
• Create precise 3D models, production models, tools, and manufacturing aids.
• Analyze challenges and implement design modifications through to series approval.
• Collaborate with Production, Product Management, Quality, and external partners.
• Support prototypes, pilot production, and ramp-ups for series manufacturing.
• Produce technical documentation, drawings, and CAD data.
