Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a Freelance Design Engineer for an offshore wind project in the Netherlands. You will develop and review engineering designs for offshore wind infrastructure, produce calculations and drawings, and ensure compliance with DNV and Eurocodes.

This is an initial 12‑month contract with extension potential and a 4‑2 rotation. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across design, fabrication and installation, using AutoCAD, Tekla, STAAD, SACS or

Qualifications

• 5+ years' engineering design experience within offshore wind, offshore energy, or marine projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore structures and relevant industry standards.
• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Offshore Engineering.

Freelance Design Engineer | Offshore Wind | Netherlands

We're supporting a major offshore wind project in the Netherlands and are looking for an experienced Freelance Design Engineer to join the engineering team.

4-2 rotation
