Job summary

CityHub is currently looking for a Design & Construction Intern to support our development projects and contribute to the creation of new Hotel Standards. While you will primarily be based at our Amsterdam headquarters, there may be opportunities to work from other CityHub hotels.

We are seeking a highly organized student enrolled in Hospitality, Architecture or Construction Education who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in Hospitality, Architecture or Construction Education.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent organizational and research skills.
• Fluent in European English.

Responsibilities

• Support the expansion team on early feasibility studies.
• Assist in development projects and hotel standards creation.
• Source products and prepare overviews for renovations and maintenance.
• Contribute to developing new hotel specifications.

What does it mean to be our intern?

As our new Design & Construction Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our development projects and contribute to the creation of new Hotel Standards. While you will primarily be based at our Amsterdam headquarters, there may be opportunities to work from other CityHub hotels.

With our continuous search for new locations, you will be at the heart of our evolving company. Each day will bring new challenges and experiences, making this role both dynamic and rewarding. We are looking for a highly organised individual who can adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Along with great interpersonal skills, you have an analytical eye, attention to detail and you don’t shy away from a report.

This is what you’ll do:

• Support the expansion team on early feasibility studies
• Supporting role in the development projects
• Support the Renovations and Maintenance in our hotel, by sourcing products, making overviews etc.
• Assisting on developing the new Hotel Standards (Specifications)

Next to all the things stated above, you are:

• Available full time, for a minimum of 6 months (starting date to be discussed)
• You are a student enrolled in Hospitality, Architecture or Construction Education
• Proficient MS Office + Google Workspace
• Excellent organisational and research skills
• Self‑motivated and structured
• Able to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
• Fluent in "European" English, written and spoken (the more languages the better)
• Passionate about Sustainability
• Feeling with technics
• Organising "miracle"
