WLG is seeking a senior network engineer to design, deploy and support mission-critical networks across fixed sites and field deployments in Brunssum. The role involves turning diagrams into working installations, configuring devices, and ensuring successful testing and acceptance in demanding environments.

You will document networks, run performance tuning, and provide regular progress reports while handling security, VPNs, and cross-site integration.

Formación

• A degree in computing, networking or engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 years designing, building, running and troubleshooting enterprise and deployable networks
• Advanced TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Layer 2 and 3, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS and VPN
• Deployable and expeditionary communications: setting up, running and recovering networks in the field
• Network security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC and secure remote access
• Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto or Fortinet hands-on, with CCNP Enterprise and JNCIP-Enterprise

Networks that have to work in a data centre and in a field camp. Both are yours. A multinational defence organisation in Brunssum is delivering new communication and information systems and needs a senior network engineer to take them from design to a tested, documented deployment, on fixed sites and in deployable kit.
