Job summary

TNO is seeking a Technical Consultant in the Advanced Computing Engineering (ACE) team focused on Defence. You will contribute to software architectures, support Enterprise Architecture across business, data, and technology domains, and engage in research and development including PoC software and system integration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, or related field or demonstrable work experience.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic knowledge of container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with data-driven computing environments and with documenting technical solutions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software architectures based on open standards and support Enterprise Architecture across domains.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to align solutions with requirements.
• Participate in R&D projects including PoC software and system integration activities.
• Document technical solutions and prepare stakeholder reports.
