Job summary

TNO in the Netherlands is seeking a Market Manager for the Electromagnetics & Military Operations division. You will lead a team of about twenty business developers, shape market strategy, and cultivate partnerships with Defence, industry, and international partners.

You translate evolving defence needs into concrete priorities, build strategic propositions, and guide cross‑divisional efforts to accelerate technology into operational capabilities.

Qualifications

Master's degree level is required.
Minimum of 13 years of relevant professional experience.
8+ years in commercial or strategic leadership roles within defence-related domains.
Proven ability to develop strategic customer relationships and ecosystems.
Strong network within public sector, Defence and security.
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Drive collaboration and acceleration across the market.
Develop market strategy and market plans for the EMO division; align with leadership and experts.
Lead and develop a team of about twenty business developers; enable their success and growth.
Build relationships with customers and partners; strengthen the division’s positioning in defence and security.
Assess international partnerships and develop partner, country, and market strategies.
