Job summary

G MASS Consulting is seeking an experienced Databricks Technical Lead to own strategic data platforms and cloud-based applications within a regulated financial services environment. You will define technical direction, architect solutions across Databricks and the AWS estate, and ensure scalable, secure development practices while guiding delivery across the full software lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Development, Business Analysis, QA, Application Support, IT Security and Enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive Databricks experience with Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake and Workflows.
• Strong Python and/or Scala programming skills and cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and ownership of strategic data platforms in Databricks and AWS.
• Design and optimise large-scale data pipelines using Spark/PySpark and Delta Lake.
• Oversee data governance, Unity Catalog design, and access controls.
