Xebia Databricks Division (XDD) in the Netherlands is looking for a Data Engineer to build, maintain, and scale data pipelines on Databricks. You’ll design robust production systems, ensure security and reliability, and work closely with healthcare and banking clients on long-term projects.

You’ll collaborate with top data professionals, contribute to open source, and grow your expertise in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values knowledge sharing, ownership, and customer impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and big data pipelines preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data architectures and modern lakehouse platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement foundational data systems on Databricks to store, transform, and process data at scale.
• Explain design choices and align team members for informed decisions about data landscapes.
• Collaborate with clients in healthcare or banking on long-term data projects.
