Job summary

Artefact is seeking a Data Scientist to lead transformational data projects for clients, building end-to-end machine learning solutions and strong client relationships. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, mentor junior data scientists, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a related field and have 1–3 years of experience with Python, SQL and R, data processing, and ML pipelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data science, analytics or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of data processing, algorithms and data architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and R.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformational data science projects for clients.
• Develop innovative data science solutions for clients and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with consulting counterparts.
• Upskill and mentor junior data scientists and cross‑team knowledge sharing.
