Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking a Data Scientist for a 12+ month contract in the Netherlands to build AI and analytics solutions strengthening cybersecurity controls, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM). You will craft production-grade code in Python, PySpark and SQL, deploy models, and collaborate with engineers and security teams to deliver impactful results.

Job description

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest financial organisations, I am seeking for a Data Scientist for a 12 months+ contract in Netherlands.

Responsibilities

The work focuses on building AI and analytics solutions that help strengthen cybersecurity controls and provide deeper insights into complex security challenges. A key area of focus is Identity and Access Management (IAM), where we help improve the secure and effective management of digital identities and access to critical systems in the organization.

Must Have

• Highly proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL and able to write clean, maintainable, well-documented, production-ready code.
• Significant experience building AI, LLM, or advanced analytics solutions, including prompt design, structured outputs, evaluation, monitoring, and responsible use of AI.
• Experience with Databricks, MLflow, MLOps, deployment, CI/CD, testing, or other software delivery practices.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects from discovery to delivery. A senior who can also support others
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IAM, including areas such as High Privilege Access, authorization management, and Privilege Session Management.
• Experience working in a regulated environment such as banking, financial services, risk, compliance, or cybersecurity.
• Understanding LLM evaluation and safety practices, including structured outputs, testing, and basic guardrail implementation.
