Job summary

ASML is offering a Data & AI internship within Internal Audit. You will help develop practical data‑driven solutions for audit activities, building tools and dashboards and translating business needs into technical implementations.

The role involves 5–12 months, at least 4 days per week (3 on‑site). Start date is January/February. You will work with experienced professionals in a global technology company and gain hands‑on analytics experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
• Practical experience with Python and/or SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, collaborative, and well‑structured in documenting work.

Responsibilities

• Identify audit activities that can be improved through automation and analytics.
• Build and test prototypes using Python, SQL, and AI‑enabled technologies.
• Extract, prepare, and analyze data to generate actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reusable analytical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, limitations, and user guidance.
• Present results, recommendations, and lessons learned to stakeholders.
