Digital Skills ltd in Amsterdam, Netherlands seeks a Data Quality Specialist to join a hands-on engineering-focused team. The role emphasises practical Data Quality tooling adoption, metrics, and clear guidance for stakeholders.
You will work with a Technical Product Manager and engineering colleagues, creating playbooks, reports and documentation to drive enterprise Data Quality capabilities across units in a hybrid setup.
Digital Skills are working with a large Software and Travel Business that is developing and establishing its enterprise Data Quality capability. The programme is focused on driving consistent adoption of Data Quality tooling and practices across the organisation, supported by clear metrics, playbooks and reporting.
We are looking for a Data Quality Specialist to work alongside a Technical Product Manager and engineering team, supporting the development and adoption of enterprise Data Quality capabilities.
The emphasis is firmly on hands-on Data Quality experience. The successful candidate will understand Data Quality tooling in practice and be able to translate that expertise into effective adoption, metrics, documentation and guidance.
The strongest candidate will have a technical background in Data Engineering, Data Governance or Data Management with proven, hands-on Data Quality experience.
Around four years' relevant experience can be treated as a guide rather than a rigid requirement. Demonstrable practical experience is more important than time served. Candidates need to have worked directly with Data Quality and at least one established Data Quality tool, rather than having purely theoretical or governance-level knowledge.
The role would particularly suit someone who understands the practical challenges of adopting Data Quality tooling and can convert that expertise into effective metrics, playbooks, reporting and documentation.
This role is specifically focused on Data Quality, and candidates should be able to demonstrate that distinction clearly in their experience.
