Job summary

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across data and ML projects, collaborating with technology, product, and commercial teams.
Qualifications
- Designing and operating modern cloud data platforms.
- Hands-on data transformation with dbt best practices.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Strong data modelling knowledge (dimensional modelling).
- Proven ML or statistical model deployment into production.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks and AB testing.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the data platform and its ongoing development.
- Lead design and operation of cloud-based data solutions.
- Introduce and improve model lifecycle management, monitoring, and governance.
- Build scalable analytics, ML, and self-service BI capabilities.
- Drive initiatives in recommendation systems, search, experimentation and analytics.
- Partner with product/business to define success metrics and priorities.
- Support growth and development of the data team.
- Balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical contributions.
