Job summary

PostNL is een Data Center of Excellence (CoE) aan het opzetten om enterprise-wide datamanagement te versterken. Als Data Management Consultant vertaal je strategie naar pragmatische implementatie en help je business domains met datavraagstukken te werken aan kwaliteit, eigenaarschap en waarde.

Je werkt nauw samen met Data Owners, Data Stewards, Product Owners en IT-teams binnen de Data Foundations afdeling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data management, data governance or related fields.
• Experience implementing data management practices in complex organizations.
• Experience in stakeholder management and facilitating workshops.
• Familiar with Agile ways of working.
• Knowledge of data disciplines such as Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Metadata Management and Data Privacy.

PostNL is establishing a Data Center of Excellence (CoE) to strengthen enterprise-wide data management capabilities and ensure data is treated as a strategic asset. As part of this transformation, Enterprise Data Management (EDM) is driving the implementation of a federated data governance operating model, enabling business domains to take ownership of their data while ensuring consistent governance across the organization.

As a Data Management Consultant, you play a key role in translating strategy into practical implementation. You combine strong knowledge of data management disciplines with excellent consulting and facilitation skills to help business domains adopt new ways of working. Acting as a trusted advisor, you guide stakeholders in implementing pragmatic and sustainable data management practices that improve data quality, compliance, ownership and business value.

You work in the Data Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Data Foundations department. Your team focuses on strengthening data management across our organization. You collaborate closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Product Owners and IT teams. Together you build a strong data-driven organization and share knowledge and best practices.

• Salary between €4.588 en €6.498 (scale 11) gross per month at 37 hours per week. But 32 hours is possible too!
• Hybrid working is encouraged and you’ll have flexible working hours. Employees who work from home more than two days a week get an allowance of €45 net per month.
• 8% vacation pay and 25 vacation days on a full-time contract.
