Job summary

Hunter Douglas - Talent Programs in Rotterdam is offering a Data Engineering Internship beginning February 2027. You will join the EMEA Commercial Operations data team to make customer and operational data more reliable, accessible and well documented.

You’ll work with a mentor to support data flows, investigate data-quality issues and contribute to practical improvements that support reporting and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI/Data Engineering, CS, Analytics or related field.
• Familiar with Python and SQL and interested in data collection, organization and usage.
• Familiar with relational data concepts, data quality and version control.

Responsibilities

• Support data flows that feed reporting and business tools.
• Check data for completeness and accuracy; investigate data-quality issues.
• Use Python and SQL to investigate data issues and validate results.
• Write and improve SQL transformations and data-quality checks.
• Build small improvements to prepare data for business use.
