Job summary

Xccelerated | Part of Xebia is seeking a Data Engineer to build large-scale data pipelines and data infra for aviation-focused analytics. You will work with Scala, Spark, and Kafka to support predictive maintenance, disruption management, and operational efficiency initiatives.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and business analysts across cloud-based platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Scala.
• Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build, secure, and manage reliable data pipelines and data flows from multiple sources.
• Integrate data into cloud-based platforms to support analytics and operational tools, ensuring platform scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and business analysts on data-driven aviation projects.
• Support and maintain the data infrastructure behind AI tools, including predictive maintenance models and disruption decision-support systems.
• Manage active data integrations across operations, fleet maintenance, and e-commerce systems within a cloud environment.
