Job summary

Xccelerated | Part of Xebia is seeking a Data Engineer to build large-scale data pipelines and data infra for aviation-focused analytics. You will work with Scala, Spark, and Kafka to support predictive maintenance, disruption management, and operational efficiency initiatives.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and business analysts across cloud-based platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Scala.
• Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Kubernetes.

• Support and maintain the data infrastructure behind advanced AI tools, including predictive maintenance models, disruption decision-support systems, and applications that help reduce operational waste

This is you

• Around 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Scala
• Knowledge of open-source technologies like Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Kubernetes
• Comfortable working with a variety of data types, formats, and velocities and scaling from a single machine to distributed systems
• Customer-focused with a strong can-do mentality; results-driven and eager to take on challenging tasks
