Job summary

Описание: Inner Circle is a dating app for people seeking relevant connections rather than endless swiping. Its screened membership, matching, marketing, subscriptions, and AI features rely on accurate, timely, and well-modelled data.

Задачи

• Own the direction of the data platform, including architecture, tooling, standards, and roadmap


• Build and run reliable end-to-end data pipelines


• Integrate new data sources and markets properly


• Design for data correctness with appropriate testing, incremental and idempotent models, and deliberate handling of deduplication, late-arriving data, timezones, and attribution windows


• Set engineering standards for the data stack through version control, reviews, CI, readable code, cost monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code access management


• Serve as a reliable data counterpart for screening, matching, marketing, subscriptions, and AI tooling across the company

Требования

• Senior experience owning a production data platform end to end


• Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt modelling


• Confidence with Dagster or a comparable orchestrator


• Serious use of AI tooling and a clear view of where it helps and where it does not


• Experience building APIs with Python


• Comfortable working with AWS infrastructure


• Experience integrating third-party event tracking, attribution, payment, and subscription data


• Deliberate handling of deduplication, late-arriving data, timezones, and attribution windows


• Ability to form and communicate a position, own outcomes, and explain tradeoffs to a non-data manager


• Ability to trace problems to root cause, raise issues early, document decisions, and follow through
