Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen’s Evi unit is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to modernise the commercial data warehouse and prepare the platform for data-driven marketing. You will build robust data solutions in Azure to support segmentation, automation and analytics, while collaborating with marketers, analysts and tech teams.

You will work in a start-up-like environment in Amsterdam, with hybrid working, a flexible budget, a MacBook or Dell and an iPhone, plus conferences and an excellent pension

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in using Databricks to build, optimise and monitor data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-aware delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the commercial data warehouse in Azure.
• Translate business and client needs into scalable data solutions for marketing and analytics.
• Collaborate with marketers, data specialists, analysts and technology colleagues to improve relevance and personalization.
• Ensure data quality, security, compliance and scalability across data landscapes.
