Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain the group’s data integration layer. You will create reliable, governed data pipelines and publish data services that support reporting, analytics, automation and AI initiatives across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or cloud data platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field.
• Certification in cloud data engineering is a plus.
• Experience designing production-grade data pipelines with monitoring and error handling.
• Strong skills in data security, metadata and governance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines to collect, transform, harmonise and distribute data.
• Design and publish reusable data services, including APIs and datasets.
• Improve cloud-based data platform components and orchestration.
• Define integration patterns, data structures and ownership boundaries.
• Operate data engineering services with documentation and change discipline.
