Job summary

Google Data Center Operations seeks an Electrical Technician to ensure 24/7 reliability of critical infrastructure, including high/medium voltage distribution, UPS, generators, and cooling interfaces. You will inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems, aligning with safety and environmental standards.

You will read blueprints/schematics, assist senior technicians, and help minimize downtime during outages.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks up to 50 lbs (23 kg) with PPE.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and different shifts.
• Ability to communicate in Dutch with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians reading blueprints/schematics.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of UPS, generators, and electrical distribution.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities.
