Job summary

Google Netherlands’ data center team seeks Facilities Technicians to operate, monitor and support electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems in its world‑class facilities. You will read blueprints and schematics, assist senior technicians, and participate in routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Candidates should have 2 years of electrical experience, an associate degree or equivalent, Dutch language ability for day‑to‑day operations, and the capacity to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training in a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of electrical experience in a data center, industrial, or commercial environment.
• Ability to communicate in Dutch for day-to-day operations with colleagues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use PPE as required.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and repair data center electrical and HVAC systems.
• Read blueprints/schematics and assist senior technicians.
• Inspect and maintain data center systems to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Coordinate with contractors performing maintenance or upgrades.
