Job summary

Google Netherlands is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the localized design effort for field engineering—from campus planning through detailed design—and to oversee MARCUS projects within operational data centers. You will liaise with facilities teams to ensure safe, reliable electrical delivery and contribute to commissioning and close‑out reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with data center equipment/environments including switchgear, generators, controls, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems.
• Experience managing construction projects in an international environment.
• Experience in facility electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive high‑complexity electrical project outcomes and provide technical leadership.
• Contribute to electrical scoping, direction, priorities, and resource allocation.
• Lead projects to ensure design, scope, schedule, quality, commissioning, and safety.
• Troubleshoot advanced electrical system events and escalate complex issues.
• Develop cross‑project procedures and align work across teams.
