Job summary

QTS Data Centers seeks a Critical Operations Manager to lead facility strategy, energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement across electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems. You will manage safety standards, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration to support 24/7 operations at a Groningen facility.

The role requires on-site work, managing a team of technicians, and delivering proactive operational excellence in a data center environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years workplace or professional equivalent experience.
• Five+ years people leadership experience.
• Seven+ years data center environment experience (preferred).
• Five+ years people leadership experience in a data center environment (preferred).
• Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Military Schooling, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce facility policies and procedures in line with corporate policy and regulations.
• Develop efficient maintenance governance to ensure 100% uptime of mechanical, electrical, life safety, and monitoring systems.
• Plan emergency response and incident reporting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Lead long-term and short-term business plans to meet profitability and growth objectives.
• Oversee building and site cleanliness, preservation, and budget management.
• Coordinate with Development, Sales, Implementation, and Solutions Engineers to support customer environments.
